Plastisol Transfers are screen printed designs that are printed on a special heat transfer release paper instead of directly on the shirt. Once the design is screen printed onto the paper, the printed heat transfer papers are shipped to you.
Dye sublimation ink is unique in its ability to convert from a solid to a gas without going through a liquid form. The conversion is initiated by heat and controlled with pressure and time. Applying at a high temperature opens the pores of the polymer. When the temperature drops, the pores close. The print then becomes part of the polymer.
